The HR Kiosk link that you have used to view your Pay Slips and W2’s has been replaced with a new application. This new application is called the Employee Self-Service (ESS), and you will be able to start using it on October 1st. Good news! Your username has not changed! You will however need to set a new password. To do so, the steps are provided below.
Accessing W2s and Pay Slips
The ESC is now utilizing the Employee Self-Service system. This system will be used exclusively for W2s and pay slips only.
MCESC Employee Self-Service (ESS) link can be found here.
For current MCESC employees:
- Click on the “Forgot Password” link underneath the blue “Log In” bar. Once clicked, the below image will then appear:
- Enter the username that you used for HR Kiosk (this will be your ESC email address) and click on the “Reset Password” button.
- An Email will be sent to you. Check your Junk/Spam folder if you do not see it in a reasonable amount of time (this came through my regular inbox messages).
- Within that email will be a “Temporary Password” and an “ESS Application” link for use to reset your password.
- Make note of your “Temporary Password” (copy & paste) and then click the “ESS Application” link provided in the email.
- The ESS Application link will open, and you should see a “Reset Password” login screen. Please follow the prompts for a strong password to continue.
- Please make note of your new password for future login attempts. You may also want to bookmark the Employee Self Service (ESS) link for future use.
As a reminder, this platform will only house your W2s and pay slips. All absences will now be entered into Absence Management ( Frontline).
If you should have any questions or concerns, please contact your district ESS administrator at: payroll@mcesc.org, britni.mckinniss@mcesc.org, marion.stout@mcesc.org or christopher.fox@mcesc.org
What is Stretch Pay?
If you are contracted to work 80 days or more, your pay will be spread out year-round. In your first year of employment, your contracted amount will be spread out over 26 equal payments. After your first year of employment, your contracted amount will be spread out over 26 equal payments. If you are hired mid-year, your contract will be spread out over the remaining pays of the fiscal year.
- Salaried
- Annual rate divided by 26 pays
- Ex. $50,000 divided by 26 = $1,923.08 gross pay per pay period (does not include any deductions)
- Hourly
- Pay rate x hours per day x #days in contract divided by 26 pays
- Ex. $20.00 x 7 x 193 = $27,020 divided by 26 = $1,039.23 gross pay per pay period (does not include any deductions)
How do I change my Direct Deposit?
To change your direct deposit information, you will need to fill out a new direct deposit authorization form and provide supporting documentation (ie: voided check or payroll authorization from your banking institution). This information must be dropped off in person to avoid fraudulent activity on your deposit.
